unregistered sim

Why is my phone suddenly saying that I have an unregistered sim when I have been using it and paying my bill?  What caused this to happen?  I was able to fix this by turning my phone off then back on again, but don't want this to happen again.  What's going on?

@GlennForward

If you have another phone to try and see if it works on the other phone.

If it works, it could be your phone but suggest you contact a CS_Agent to be sure it is could be a backend issue.

Try taking out the SIM card and gently cleaning gold contacts with a soft eraser.  (likely not issue, but maybe)

You might also try the SIM card in another device for awhile to see if problem occurs.

If problem recurs, contact CSA's who may be able to reprovision the SIM card to the network.
