Transferring/porting a number is done with the Service Provider you are going with. The Provider you are leaving does not get involved in the Porting out.

hi @Rjpeters   i am assuming you want to cancel your public mobile account and go with the provider your company is using. 

loginto self serve copy down your account number and the name on the account.  remove your credit card from file and disable autopay.

provide these details (name and account number + your tel number)to the person managing your corperate tel acccount and they will initiate the port for you.

be advised any available funds and any thing left time left on your current plan will be forefitted, ie no refunds.

@Rjpeters if your number is with Public Mobile, you will need to contact your corporate phone provider to initiate a transfer / port. However before you do that you should make sure your have turn Autopay off @ Public Mobile (if any) and remove your credit card info.
