PC Mobile doesn't use the same system as Public Mobile. All remaining Telus customers who were under the PC Mobile brand were moved to Koodo and even then, all Telus PC Mobile customers had postpaid plans. Anyone still with PC Mobile are Bell prepaid customers. For some other unknown reason, the same process for transferring a phone number from Koodo prepaid apply to porting a former PC Mobile postpaid (Telus) transitioned to Koodo postpaid apply when porting to Public Mobile.
