text message shows "Number changed to Primary"

Hi,

when I ported my cellphone to public mobile, everytime I send or receive message, it shows "Number changed to Primary". what does this mean? How can I get rid of it?

This happened to me as well, but only when texting somebody that didn't also have an iPhone (it wasn't popping up with iMessage). I ended up just deleting the chat on my message app for that specific person, and when I re-opened a new chat the problem was gone!! I hope this works for you as well.

Is your phone dual sim card? If it is set the PM to Primary.
