Did our subscription fees just increase by a dollar without prior notice?

Most customers in the affected provinces got a text from Public mobile in early July about the monthly tax for 911 services.

Subscription fees did not increase.
You might be seeing an increase due to the new 911 charge that has been now charged separately as of July 31.
You can view your subscription details under the Payment tab.
@debeyt depending on what province you are in, PM has implemented a mandatory 911 fee. Could it be that? Have a look at your detailed payment and see what that says

Blame you provincial government, it is the new 911 fees. Not all provinces have that charge
