if you are new account setup.. go to Walmart and they will give it for free.. and help setup

 

if you are swapping sim card only.. then go to your account.. use Swap SIM option.. then you will know if it is a PM SIM 🙂

@Yousouf I had the same problem.

I used internet explorer instead of chrome for the activation, no issue activating.

 

If still having problems, get a new sim card.

If you need assistance with this, I recommend contacting one of the public mobile moderators.

 

To contact a moderator, there are 2 methods:

 

  1. Use the ticketing system - faster response time. Click on the bubble in the lower right corner and request moderator assistance, then select account-related issue, then select you need a human now.  Follow the prompts to submit a ticket.
  2. Send a private message to the moderator through the following link: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/composepage/note-to-user-id/22437

Watch for their response in your Community private mailbox which will be indicated by a number on the small envelope icon to the left of your Community avatar.

@Yousouf Why would you think it isn't? Or is this a case of you found one in a drawer and it isn't in the larger card that they are sold in?

 

Try putting it into an unlocked phone. What happens?
