I have switched from Rogers beginning of this month and everything was good.
However, I got 4 calls from unknown person(all different) today as they had missed call from me but I never called.
Has anyone have similar experience?
Thank you

Thank you all for many answers but I don't think they are spam or telemkt purpose as all people who called me hang up right away once I said that I did not call

Thank you for comments.
So, Have you taken any action with this issue?
Have you still received similar calls from unknown people?

I get them at least once a day and they say the same thing that they had a call from my number

These people/companies/organizations often call random phone numbers or entire blocks of them. I wouldn't necessarily say that you were specifically targetted for calls.

The most likely thing is that someone is spoofing your phone number. Companies that are telemarketing outside of the rules or conducting activities via the phone that they otherwise shouldn't be often use fake or even other peoples' phone numbers to prevent people form knowing where the phone call is really coming from. You could could choose to change your phone number, but there's not guarantee that this won't happen again with a new phone number. You would also lose your old phone number if you did that.

Yes. I switched 3 phones from Rogers and got the calls on all three phones. It is Rogers calling (from India) wanted to know why I left and if they can get me back.

@yudi Did you port-in you number from Rogers or did you select a new number when you signed up with PM?

@yudi Did you put your number into "do-not-call" list? It can help. It seems that I am lucky as I have never received such calls yet for two months of service here.

You could use call blocking but best to just ignore them and they will stop eventually. Any unknown number on call display, just don't answer.

Spammers are spoofing, bad news is that you can't avoid it, they can pick any number and pretend they are calling from it, the good news is it never lasts long as they jump from number to number fast, they will probably leave your number today and you probably won't receive any callbacks after tomorrow.
Some people probably blocked your number as they were spammed by it

This happens all the time. CRA, duct cleaning...

@yudi did you port your number? Probably Rogers call centres trying to get you back. Lol.

To be sure, you can check that your phone is virus free.
Otherwise no worries. This has happened before, and it will stop.
