run out of data before data runs out?

Hello,

I have a 2 gig plan. I currently only used 1 gig and it tells me that I have run out of data?

Please help it happens all the time!

The data usage on your phone doesn't exactly reflect the usage on Self Serve. For me, its generally 25MB off, but it could be a lot more for you depending on the phone and OS version.

You need to make sure there are no background apps draining your data. It's the number one killer of data around the globe.

What phone operating system are you using? Android or iOS?

@alicewonderlost where are you seeing your data usage--in the phone's data usage info, or in your self-serve public mobile account?

Goto your self serve and login and check your data history under data add-on. If it's shows 1gb used then you have 1 gb left.
Also if your data currently working then I wouldn't much worried. Did you received a text or your data stopped working?
Also for future reference you can download my data management or data witness works pretty well for data monitoring and data usage.
