Hi All,
"Invalid sim" message appeared on my phone after recent ice storm power outage in Quebec. Coincidence or bad luck?
Tried multiple tests on mine and other phones. Sim card is invalid.
Logged into my account, still active, no outstanding dues.
Do I need to buy a new sim and do a 'change sim card number' in my account or can a moderator do a reset on my current invalid sim? Do I need to contact/message a moderator during my sim number change?
Please help. Thanks.

Finally received new sim card from Canada post letter carrier (waited 7 business days). Followed 'change sim card number' procedure...worked like a charm. I was activated/up and running within 10mins. Thank you all. Two thumbs up!

I've seen similar messages on my phone before when there's a network outage. I do not believe that you're going to need a new SIM card. If you know someone else who uses Public Mobile, have that person try to use the service at the same location.
