@OCONNORWhen you call 611, is there an recorded error message or does it not connect? If you text yourself it works?
Since you are on the network to get the text and your data is working, It is sounding like you are going to want to message the moderator team Click this to send them a message. My guess would be somehow all of your features were not added to your account, I do see you have a 3 choice plan complete with calling, texting and data.
Edit- your data is missing from your add-on sections, did you already use up your 5gb? But you just signed up, your due date is march 8th, this doesn't make any sense. Definitly contact the mods
@RobertQc, this is not the overview tab. The add-ons which show in the plan and add-on tab are different. @OCONNOR, could we trouble you to provide a screen cap of the overview tab? If everything looks in order there and the account is active, maybe try the lost phone, found phone toggle. If that doesn't do anything to clear up the problem, definitely the moderator team is the final recourse.
@will13amYes thats my mistake, I was trying to figure out why the heading was different since I asked the OP to screen shot the overview page I didn't consider it was a different location. But I get it now. Will notice that next time thanks for letting me know

I checked your phone on willmyphonework.net and it should work with Public Mobile. I agree with @RobertQc, you will likely need to contact moderator.
As you wait for moderator, you could try the lost/stolen phone trick. It sometimes resets your SIM card/account. It does not harm to your phone or account.

@will13am YES the old service provider account no longer exists.

@OCONNOR, have you tried looking into the account status of your old service provider? If the porting has indeed been completed successfully, the old service would terminate. Often it is best to check the status of a number port from the existing provider end instead of at the new provider.

@OCONNOR wrote:@RobertQcno toggling airplane mode doesnot work too. Also tried to restart the phone twice checked the IMEI number, that seems okay too.
@OCONNORhave you verified your plan you selected includes talk and is not just a data plan? Log into self serve and post a screen shot of your overview please, but remove your personal details
Edit- I am wondering if my head since I don't have experience with this, if you have a data only plan but ported in, would you still get a text saying the number has been ported, but not have a texting plan? I don't know, maybe 611 / emergency / important / koodo offers still come through if you have no text plan?

What about texts? Which model phone do you have? Might want to try network reset....
If you have an extra phone lying around, you could try to put the SIM card in the other phone to determine whether it is a hardware issue versus Public Mobile problem.

@OCONNORYou can get texts, but you cant get calls? So you are on the public mobile network. Have you restarted your phone since you got that message? Try toggeling on and off airplane mode.
