I am currently on the $20 4G 3GB plan.
The $19 4G 1GB and $23 4G 6GB plan are currently available to me in my change subscription. Also, the $29 5G 20GB plan is also available to me. These three plans are better than the new activation plans which are currently available for new customers.
I used to be on the same $25 3G 1GB plan as you and upgraded to a $29 4G 20 GB plan. I found that was too much data for my my needs. I just kept checking and downgrading whenever a cheaper and better plan became available for me.
All I can advise is to keep checking your change subscription and wait for a cheaper and better plan to become available.
You could port out and back in, but you will lose any accrued referrals or benefits.
Good Luck.

Sadly, the only way you can get that $19 plan @LEM5019 is to port out and port back in. Just know you'll lose any referrals you have if you have any.

Unfortunately, Public Mobile has made that plan for new subscribers only. You can only change to plans within your account.

Sorry @LEM5019
you can only change plan to selected plans available on your Change Subscription page. $19 is a pretty much a new activation plan and I don't think anyone can lower their plan to this one.
But check your Change Subscription page, it should have another $25 or $26 plan that gives you more data. You might not be able to save money with the plan change, but you can get more data out of it
