For weeks, I have had difficulty making calls -- I get the message that I do not have a long distance plan even though I am only making local calls! What do I do? Is this a +1 issue?

Dialing 1 or +1 shouldn't make any difference other than you would hear a call reminding you that the call is long distance, but the call then continues. At Public Mobiile, strange things sometimes happen if you don't dial at least the 1, but as I said - it's not supposed to actually matter.

Always add 1 before phone number.
Your account may not be provisioned correctly. Adding $1 to your account may trigger PM server to provision your account again.

Did you _try_ with a 1 in front?
Or are you on the $15 (or $10) plan and out of minutes?
