Hello,
I've opened a bank account in RBC and I can get an iPad if I complete two criteria.
But it should be from my checking account. That's why I want to pay for my next month in public mobile via client card or "pay bill" but I cannot find here options to do this. Maybe someone can help me?
Thank you

- Two pre-authorized monthly payments (PAPs)
- Two bill payments to a service provider

The only way to pay from a chequing account would be if you had an Visa Debit card (which RBC Royal Bank client cards aren't). Even then, you wouldn't be able to do it throgh it through online banking, but rather by setting up autopay payments through your Public Mobile self serve account.
Let's assume that Public Mobile did allow payments to be iniated direclty from your bank account. This still would not acount as a pre-authorized payment. Payments to Public Mobile are not classified as pre-authorized.

You can't do this with PM. PM plans are 30 days and not a monthly reoccurring bill.
We accept the following credit cards, issued by Canadian or American financial institutions and registered to a Canadian or American address:
Visa
MasterCard
American Express
We also accept Visa Debit cards. Additionally, you can pay for your SIM card activation with a Public Mobile Payment Voucher.
Best of luck getting your iPad.
