Hello I brough a pay as you go card from 7-11..How do I activate onto my cell phone ?

Depending on where the voucher was purchased from, there might be a delay in activation. Some vouchers are not immediately activated. Might need to wait a few hours or perhaps overnight. Are you sure you are entering the 12 digit PIN?

 

Your other option is to contact moderators (Click on question mark, and use ticket as search text). However, response time could be anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

Dude...it's not difficult. You can use either 611 or login to your self-serve account to redeem the voucher. You don't need a live agent. This is more of a hands-on, self-serve kinda place.

 

This is not a pay-as-you-go service either. It's a 30 day pre-paid plan. If your account is suspended then adding money can reactivate it if you add enough. Otherwise, adding money will do nothing until you want to buy add-ons or your renewal uses it.

You could opt to change plan immediately but there are no refunds or pro-rating here.

You could also ask the moderators (yes using the chatbot to reach them) to renew your plan early. Again no refunds or pro-rating.

 

You might be experiencing the common delay in the vouchers becoming redeemable. For that you'll need to wait. Maybe overnight.

You could also use the instant top-up method available at some stores while you wait for the voucher to become usable.

Here are your options. If you are adamant for human contact you might want to move on. And keep in mind that human contact with other prepaid carriers can cost you $2 per function requested.

  1. Dial *611 from your phone.
  2. Press 1 from the main menu.

There is no live agent you can talk to. You will have to contact a moderator with these 2 options:

PM offers no live agents to "talk to"....just us Community Forum members to guide you.

Are you certain that your card is a Public Mobile payment card ? There are no "pay-as-you-go" options here.

As directed by @JoyLuck , try adding the payment voucher to your account by dialing 611. Remember that some of the vouchers aren't actually "activated" until several hours after the sale...try again this evening maybe.

Alternative is on-line vouchers from recharge.com or ding.com.

You can top-up your Public Mobile account by calling * 611 and following the prompts. Or you may also top-up by signing in to your Self-Serve account, select the ‘Payment’ tab, then ‘One Time Payment’. In the form on the next page, select ‘Payment Voucher’ as your payment method and enter your voucher code below, then click ‘Submit’.

611 is one way to access the online account for limited transactions.  You can access the online account by logging in on a browser.  This way you have access to all account functionality.  Are you able to do the browser login?

You can log into self service and add the voucher number. Go to payment tab.

The support model provided by Public Mobile is entirely online.  There is no call center support.  For questions related to the service that does not involve accessing your account, the community is the place to go for help where customers help other customers.  If you need to have something done to your account then the moderator team (Public Mobile support team) will look after things.  The moderator team is accessed by clicking on the chat symbol on the lower right corner.  Go through the prompts and initiate a ticket.

Do you mean voucher for PM? If so call 611 from your phone or add it via self service.
