Hi there,
I've tried to email the tech support multiple times but I still have not received any response.
I tried porting my number from Bell and I'm sure i entered my 647 number correctly.
But when my sim was activated, the number that's currently showing up on my sim is a 416-xxx-xxxx number. The last 7 digits are correct, but the area code was wrong. 😞
I tried reactivating the number, or changing the number under my account, but nothing is working. Even when I enter the correct phone number to try and reactivate, the system will say that I do not have authorization to port this number...
Please help!

hi , wow are you in GTA , if so is great to have a 416 number you could get up to $500 for that number if you were to sell it

I've tried calling the 647 number but it just says number not in service. 😞
I had to switch back onto my original provider's sim card in order to have phone service.
So right now i'm actually paying for both a Bell service plus a Public mobile one that I cannot use...

But have you tried calling your original 647 # to see if your phone rings? maybe it is ported but displaying the wrong #. you do not need to worry as much if everything is working.

Sending a Private Message to a Mod (moderator) gives you the opportunity to include account details that shouldn't be posted in the public forum.
Be sure to include your Public Mobile phone number, and details about what happened (the number you wanted to port, the one that actually came across, etc.). While your situation doesn't match the issues outlined, it might be useful to take at look at this post from Announcements: **Information required before sending a message
Also please read through the "All you need to know about our Community Moderators" from the KB (Knowledge Base).
At present there's a huge backlog as the Mod team is swamped dealing with issues. Unfortunately this means your wait time may be a few days.
I hope this can be solved for you soon.
