just transferred my Rogers home phone number to my new public account and I'm unable to log into my public account public is sending eversafe code by text to my home phone, home phone does not accept text messages.

You won’t get a 2FA code if you are porting a landline but porting will take up to 3 business days. Your landline will continue to work until porting is completed.

There should be an option there to click on that says.. Didn't Get Code? If you click on that, you should get an option to send to your email. If that isn't there, then you may have to reach out to a CS Agent for help. Here's how.
