Hi, i don't have or want long distance plan.
I made one long distance call by mistake,
the call never connected at all, went right to recording that i don't have long distance.
Since then, Anytime i call local , within my $15. plan i get the recording, no long distance calls and to buy an add on...
My message does the same thing plus no incoming calls either.
I already shut my phone down twice and pulled the sim card to reset.
?? quiet at home.

@pcthekid wrote:Im not out of minutes but just to cut though all the red tape im going to see where i can buy 500 minutes for five bucks.
I read 15 bucks for an add on.
I would be happy to fix this for $5. ?
Here is an HDI for buying an add on. It is a 2 step process:

@pcthekid Try the methods indicated avove by @Anonymous if they fail, contact a moderator and ask them to reset your SIM. Click on the green questionmark in the white circle at the bottom right of your screen. This connects to the autobot Simon. Type moderator and follow the prompts to get to one (CLICK on "Account specific question" and "No I want a human" and "Submit a ticket Click me!")
Once connected, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password. Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent. Also keep an eye on the envelope, the mods answer will show up there. Once it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue.
If you need to, you can also enable email notification to receive a private message notification sent to your email. Go to your community account > my settings > PREFERENCES > Private Messenger > enable "Receive email notifications for new private messages" > Save.
Welcome to the community. Stay safe.

If you do in fact see the minutes counter on the overview page under data & add-ons then
two things to try:
1. the lost/stolen feature.
Log in to self-serve. Plan & Add-Ons from top menu. Lost/Stolen Phone from next menu. Suspend Service button. Log out. Wait a few minutes. Log back in and back to Lost/Stolen Phone and Resume Service this time. Log out. Restart phone.
2. Manually add $1 into your account and restart the phone.
If you don't see the minutes counter then you've used them all. Incoming should still work though. Are you sure you're not getting incoming calls?

@pcthekid Check your self-service account for how many mins left for your plan now. 15$ plan 100 mins for 30 days. Also, add +1 in front of the number and area code you call.

You have 100 minutes on the $15 plan. Check your account to see if any minutes are showing if there are none then you have used them up. You can purchase an add-on for
200 U.S. & Canada Long Distance minutes $8 or
500 Canada-wide Long Distance minutes $5.

@pcthekid Dial *611 from your phone. Is your account active? If yes, try calling another local number directly and add 1 in front of the number. Does the call go through? If not, go online and check the minutes counter on the first page of your selfserve account. If the counter is missing it means that your minutes ran out. Best to purchase the 500 minute add-on for $5.
Note: @pcthekid Your plan minutes are Canada wide so you can call anywhere in Canada without incurring a long distance charge.

Check your usage in self service. With the $15 plan you are limited to 100 outgoing minutes. Seconds are rounded up to the closest minute. (eg. A 10 second call is rounded up to 1 minute). As well, checking your voicemail with your phone will use up outgoing minutes too. You can use another phone to check your voicemail. Dial your number and press * at the greeting. You can also purchase an add on in self service of 500 minutes for $5. The unused portion is rolled over from month to month until it is used up.
