First, check this site to see if Telus is down in your area.

If there are no reports of being down, try restarting your phone. You can also go into network settings and turn off Automatic and choose Public Mobile and then reboot. If that doesn't work, you can consider resetting your network settings and then rebooting.

@Guy11 try restarting your phone or turning on airplane mode and then turning it back off. Also check your data usage to make sure you haven’t used it all up. Is text and calling still working?
