wondering why i can’t make calls even though my phone plan is all paid up? no ringing either, i’m pissed off there’s been nothing but problems being with public mobile

That happened to me once. I had to check if the payment went through and just rebooted the phone and everything went back to normal.

If your account is active, try rebooting, resetting network settings, reinstalling SIM card or try sim in another unlocked phone.

You just subscribed to PM service and requested porting your number into PM ? Or you are existing subscriber?
If you are porting your number, did you reply a text to your old provider and reply YES within 90 mins? If you miss that, the porting was not completed and hence you are not receiving incoming calls.
