Hi,
I just actived new sim card hour ago and port in from othet carrier. I like to know how long will take, so my phone will work. now the old one stop to work, but publc one have not n line now.

There's definitely something up with your porting request, service, or phone compatibility. The old carrier's service is not supposed to stop working until the number porting is complete (although I have experienced one brief period of busy signals when trying to call my own number immediately after a previous number port). Please follow the advice given earlier to ask the moderators about your situation.
Out of curisosity, what happens if you call your phone number?

@Hongwei it depends on what carrier you are coming from. sometimes 5 minutes sometimes 2 hours or in some cases landlines longer. your old sim should still work. if it has been longer than a couple hours you might have a stuck port and need the mods to reinitiate the porting procedure.
you should be able make calls and use data with your current pm sim. your old sim should also still work.
How can you get help with your account, activation, or service?

- They are Public Mobile support employees who can help with your issue (More details).

In your message please include:
- PM Phone Number, 4 digit PIN, Account email address, Detailed explanation of your issue
If you have a Porting issue, please also include:
- The number you want to port, PM sim number, old account number, old account name exacly as on bill
Don't know your pin?--provide any 3 of the following:
- Complete mailing address, Email address, Alternate phone number, Date of birth, Last top up date & amount
How long until they reply?:
- Office Hours: Mon-Fri 9am to 9pm, and Sat-Sun 9am to 7:30pm [Totonto Time] from 9am to 7:30pm [Totonto Time].
- Messages are replied to during business hours and in the order they are received
- Typical response time is between 1-3 hours, depending on message queue, but can be up to 48 hours.
- There is no need to send multiple messages.

@Hongwei, if you have done a port as part of activation, the new service should be working as the old service is terminated. You might have a stuck port. I suggest contacting the moderator team and have them look into your account set up. The moderator team can be reached via private message using this link.
