Go onto the Telus website for mobility. Take the chat option and ask them to unlock your phone. You will need the IMEI number ready. Your reason to unlock is....you want it unlocked so you can use out of the country.

@Sam1231 , does this phone use a SIM card. Just asking because the old Public Mobile ran on a CDMA network. Those phones are no longer compatible.

If it is locked to Public Mobile, scroll to the top of this page and click Get Help, then chat with Simon. Type locked phone / talk to human to start process of moderator assistance.
The little envelope icon on top right hand side of page will be highlighted when they respond.
