my sim card is locked and is asking for a puk number i have no ascses to my phone

i am 10 days without my phone i am wanting the puk number and pub;ic mobile has taken 10 days of my money with no resolution.

What exact message are you seeing? Do you remember setting up the sim security feature? Clearly you don't remember the code but did you do that?

Was 10 days ago when you signed up or put the sim in another phone?

do i have to contact the provider of the phone, when it got locked. my phone screen says contact my service provider which is public mobile

You can get a SIM PUK from a CS_Agent but if you recently purchased the phone privately then you will need a PUK from the previous carrier to unlock the phone.

If it is a Samsung phone, you need to contact Samsung Canada for the PUK.

@mavb1234 Hi is your phone locked to your previousprovider? if it is you must contact them for an unlock code if it's a sim lock in the sense you locked yourself out of your phone 

you need the help of a service rep type in sim locked phone
