broke my umidigi a3x ordered a new one and this one will not connect to my data what so ever only wifi . im no tech guy can anyone help.

I have the same phone and tried the accepted solution, but it didn't work... Furthermore I had MMC proxy option instead of MMSC proxy.
In the end I had to set the APN settings as in this post: https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/Getting-Started/Samsung-Galaxy-A50/m-p/400387/highlig...
I set the MMC proxy at 74.49.0.18 just as the MMSC proxy would have been.
Works!

APN: sp.mb.com
Proxy: Leave blank
Port: Leave blank
Username: Leave blank
Password: Leave blank
Server: Leave blank
MMSC: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
MMSC proxy: 74.49.0.18
MMS port: 80
MCC: 302
MNC: 220
Authentication type: Leave blank
APN type: Leave blank
Select Save/Done. Select Public Mobile to connect to the Public Mobile network
