Hello,
I ve just purchased an add on to be able to call France and every time I dial a number I have this message saying that
Your call cannot be completed as dialed
The number is
0033 +4.50.10.22.43
it is a regular number (not a toll free)
I ve tried several other numbers and it is the same result.
What should I do?
Thanks for your help,
Emma

The usage of 011 was relevant in the era of landline phones in North America (they did not have a "+" key), but the international standard of using the "+" sign is the better practice, and is the only guaranteed way to bypass any default formatting settings on your phone app.

@Tofino : There are a couple parts to all this international dialing.
1. Use either 011 or + to "get out to international".
2. If the other end has leading zeros in their numbers then drop them.

The error you are receiving has to do with the number being badly formatted. In addition, I can confirm that the number you have provided is valid, as per fone finder: http://www.fonefinder.net/findint.php?intlnum=33450102243&intlquery=Search+by+Number&intlname=
So the most likely scenario is that your "phone" app is configured to interfere with the formatting of phone numbers by default. Usually, this can be overridden by using the "+" sign. You will not be able to call an international number by just putting it in without a prefix, so "33450102243" will not work.
TLDR; try calling +33450102243 and share your results here.

Hi Emma,
The plus sign cannot be used in addition to "00". You should just dial +33450102243 from your phone.
