Can't make a local call . It said no talk plan. but I pay $40 per month for Canada wide calling unlimited

I think this is just a glitch that seems to be happening now and then to users.
Try toggling into airplane mode then back to regular mode.
If it persists, and other trouble-shooting others have suggested as well does not work contact Moderators to check your account.

@fasted Usually, inserting +1 in front of the number helps.

If rebooting didn't solve problem, check self serve to make sure account status is Active.
If not, maybe you need to apply funds sufficient to reactivate service. (possible auto pay failure??)

Try rebooting your phone. Log into your account to check the status.

try putting a 1 in front of the phone number
If it is stored contact, try to dial it with the 1 in front of it
Try calling other numbers. This error message can be caused by dialing a particular number incorrectly.
Also, did you just join PM or have been here for awhile and just have issue with calling out today?
