As of a few days ago, I'm no longer able to connect with the network. I had changed nothing, so not sure why it's all of a sudden. I've read the community posts and tried all the "work arounds" and "fixes". Every time my phone pops up with a "connect to network" request, I select YES and then receive an Internal Server Error from public mobile. I need help FAST!

HI @danieldubuc Can you make calls or receive calls?
It is just data with the problem?
First try reboot your phone.
Then try to put your SIM in another phone to see if it works there
Also, try to click Reset Network and this could solve your issue
Please also login to My Account and check if your account status. If it is Active, check to see if you have any more data left in My Data & add-ons

I have the same issue, same behavior, happened suddenly, swapped SIM cards and my Fido card works great in the phone but not the PM one. Tried resetting all settings, nothing fixes it. Trying to get support is such a pain that I will switch carrier. There is no point paying for a service that doesn't work, specially when the company can't provide meaningful support and sending us back to a reset that doesn't fix it.

@ebethboileau - have you fully powered off your phone recently? If not, best to power it off for maybe a minute or 2.
Then restart it, and ensure your Data option is turned on in the settings of your device.
edit, before below, try removing your SIM card, ensure there is no debris or anything on the contact points of the SIM or inside the SIM slot. Then gently re-insert the SIM card.
If still issues, have you tried reset of your network settings as @hTideGnow mentioned?
This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.
Iphone:
To Reset Network Settings, begin by opening the Settings app. Next, tap General -> Transfer or Reset iPhone -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings. and enter your passcode.
Your iPhone will reset network settings and restart itself.
android:
Find and tap Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Reset network settings.

HI @ebethboileau did you try resetting your network settings? If just data, it could be APN problem.
yes, you don't have another phone, but maybe you should try to go out and drop by a mobile store and ask for help. Yes, there is no PM store, but many are nice and willing to help. Check Koodo or Telus stores.

When you tried to add the data did you do both steps? Do you still see the amount in your balance? If so then you need to do the second step.

just checked: it's on. but still getting the "!" and "internal network error" from public mobile

I had very little data left, but just added another G to be sure.
5mins later and still not connecting...

If it is the Data not Wifi you can’t connect to,
check to see in your Settings to see if your Cellular Data is turned on.
Or maybe you used up all your Data. Just login to your account and under My Data & Add-on. If it doesn’t show amount of data…then you used it all up.

Sounds like you're out of data. Have you looked at your my data & add-ons in your account? Is there a line saying something about data?

I do not have another device to test my SIM card with 😞
But everything works fine when I'm using a wifi network - just can't use data.
I can make/receive voice calls at any time.

The Internal Server Error happen last night and maybe a maintenance thing.
Did you try going to your setting and turn on and off WiFi?
If that didn’t work, maybe try reconfiguring/reset your WiFi.

did you try to put your SIM card in another phone and test it? Just need to make sure if it is a device problem or your account
Also, can you make voice calls or receive calls? Everything is not working or just data?
