I currently joined the Public Mobile family. My profile in the app shows my old transferred number, but My IPhone still shows the temporary number in the settings. I did try entering my number and hit save, it didn’t work. I even rebooted the phone to see if that would make it update, it didn’t work either. Does anyone know any other options?

It is possible that your port from old carrier didn't process properly. Did you respond "yes" to your previous carrier's port request text confirmation?
Are you able to receive phone calls or texts at your old transferred number?
