Set up a new phone, with a phone # transfer. Can't text Android with iPhone, but can text other iPhones. Try a sim from another iphone and it worked. Is an issue with PM or do I wait until the number transfer

did you test your sim card on another phone instead?

but it could work again if PM reset the account on the system.  Ask them to check.   Simply open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. (For 2FA  code when login, use email to receive code instead of SMS if you cannot receive the text on the phone.)    When open Chatbot ticket, Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

But if you have trouble using Chatbot to open ticket, then message PM using this link:

PM will reply to your community inbox,  between 9AM-10PM EST (Mon-Sun), check here:

since porting to Public Mobile, can you confirm if test and data (not wifi) are working correctly ?

Your messages to iPhones are probably going as iMessages so they are using Wifi or perhaps wireless data. The messages to Android maybe trying to use RCS which is failing or regular SMS and failing. Toggle off RCS and see if that fixes things. If not then the whole wireless connection may not be working, calls and sms. Transfers should go through pretty quickly, but you need to reply to the confirmation text message that gets sent out while you are still connected to your old provider.

Check your Messaging settings to see that “send as text message” is enabled
