Hi I have a iPhone 6s I put in the imei it said it was compatible it’s saying sim not supported why is this I just bought the phone

@Debbk , connecting the iPhone to. ITunes and getting the carrier settings updated will help.
APN settings are locked on an iPhone, the Carrier settings from Telus or Public Mobile does the trick here.

In order for a Phone to work on a certain network two things must be met. In your case only one thing was met.
1) Compatible (in your case yes it is compatible)
2) Unlocked (in your case this condition was not met because your phone is locked)

@Debbk , @geopublic is correct, the SIM not supported message means the phone is locked. Where did you purchse the phone from another carrier, or Apple store? You will have to ask them to unlock it. It is free to unlock.

It’s unlocked and when I check on public mobile it said it was compatible
