Can't get my iMessages or Facetime to activate. Been rebooting, signed out of apple ID, date/time settings etc. to no avail.
Is this on public mobiles end or what?

Bought a new eSIM and this solved my issue immediately. New eSIM, reset network settings when the phone rebooted iMessages activated.
clearly something on the public mobile end. Going to request a refund for the new eSIM.

Having the exact same issue!! It appears to be on Public Mobile’s end. I think they need to push an update

When i had this issue a couple of months ago (imessage not activating) purchasing a new esim solved this issue.

So getting a new eSim solved your issue?

the agent helping me does not want to credit 5 dollars to me again as it was already done before a few months ago (had the same problem before and I purchased a new e-sim and credited 5 cad to me. it did solve the imessaging issue though)
Now I am stuck without imessage. I dont want to pay 5 dollars because this issue is from their end. Still waiting for them to do something to my account. Just very frustrated as from other networks, this is not happening

you shouldn't need to do that, but let's try it, why not
you don't need to delete the old esim yet, Just login PM app on your iPhone, buy from the Account page, Purchase Sim Card, choose eSIM. It might say $5, complete the transaction and it should show $0 (or if it charges you, you can ask PM to reimburse)
after the new one is install, make sure you disable the old one, reset network settings and try it

They also said my carrier should remove/re-add my e-sim to refresh my signal..

Spoke with Apple their basically saying the carrier won’t authenticate the iMessage capability.. so seems like no solution..

I updated to iOS 26 last night and I couldn’t send a message to my partner by RCS messaging to an android phone on my iPhone 14 Pro Max. I had to send it by iMessage for it to work.

i cant contact apple support the message won't send through their app as their imessage based texts..
@TheSponge , you can call Apple Support. I don’t know if I am allowed to post their support # but you can scroll down towards the bottom of that page & the # is there.
If you have already toggled off iMessage & FaceTime, rebooted the iPhone then toggled them back on again, then select the phone # to see if that will get it to work I don’t know any other suggestions. Sorry. I can only suggest what worked for me.

another post have the same issue
but this is an Apple issue. If you check internet, it is not uncommon
Try reboot phone and try again. If still show unsuccessful, check with Apple support first. Someone on the internet said they contacted Apple and was told the ID was blocked due to spamming.
