i phone 8 to i phone 13

I only have i phone 8 to start with PM plan for now, but I am thinking to buy i phone 13 soon.

how I should prepare SIM card ? one SIM cargo can cover both ?

@Abeille_2024  Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 13 use nano sim so you don't need to do anything to the sim card, just take it out of the old phone and put it in the new one as already said and then restart the phone.

Simply power off the phone and pop out the SIM from the iPhone 8 and pop it into the iPhone 13 and you are good to go.

Make sure the iPhone 13 is unlocked if you are buying it privately.

Check the IMEI to see if it is Blacklisted:

Dial *#06# to get the IMEI number.

If it is from a retailer seller it should be OK but not the second sellers from BestBuy or Walmart…always check.

If you buy a new phone just put the existing sim card in the new phone and reboot.
