i am going to travel between Oct 24 to December 3 and I will not be able to use my mobile services with public mobile. Can I suspend my account during this period? What other options do I have to avoid being charged during this period.?

Well that’s not suspending the account. It’s just paying as normal.

Everything on the account remains the same. So yes, you would pay the same plan amount.

after coming back and pre auto rising bill payment will i be charged the same for identical plan and amount that i have now? ( if i do preautirise )?

hi@Maryandfary if you don't have any amount as Available Fund in My Account, then just login to My Account, disable Pre-authorized payments. PM won't charge you further at the end of this cycle and your account will then be suspended
when you are back in Dec 3, just login to My Account and reactivate the plan by making a payment manually
