e-sim purchase refund

obsurv47

I made the mistake of purchasing an e-sim and paid $28.25 only to find neither of my phones support it.  I am looking for a refund but have been given the run around and page hopping only asking me to complete registration

What "Brought me here" was the supposed lower cost plans.  A Free e-sim was a bonus.  True, it is not their fault the e-sim didn't work on either of my 2 phones (LG and Bison) but to go ahead and charge me for the plan $28.25 with out a sim card is kind of foolish.  Then the next day when I order a physical sim the charge me 2 times $28.25 - that is a rip-off!

But you didn't pay for the esim? The problem is that they don't know what your device is. You choose esim during sign up. They send it to you. Oh but it turns out it doesn't work in your phone. How is that their fault? So now you need to get a physical sim to make use the payment you made. Or ask for a refund (good luck) or ask your bank to reverse the charge.

What brought you here? Was it the no cost esim? Or the plans?

@obsurv47

your esim is free

  • For a limited time, pay $5 $0 for an eSIM***

And even sSIM didn't work, you pay the regular price of a sim card to get to change to physical sim card

The $28.25 is the price for $25 plan + tax

Your issue is resolvable.  Get a new physical sim card and support can help you resolve this quickly

What a scam!  They make you pay for an e-sim which you say I didn't buy and then take a chance it will work on your phone.  When it doesn't you are forced to go and pick one up to put in phone and have them do the change over.  DO YOU think I am even stupider and want to deal with a company like Public mobile after they ripped me off $28.25

@obsurv47  actually, you are paying for $25+ tax and eSIM is free, isn't it?

And your phone is not eSIM compatible?

If you need to change back to physical sim, you need to first get one , then message support and ask them to change the sim card for you

Once you got the sim card, message support to complete the activation
