The plan renews every 30 days, and since not every month is 30 days long the billing day might change.

@sierrat you've already had a few great replies from @Anonymous @darlicious and @AE_Collector.

Let me just add a more generic rule of thumb for you:

  • In a month the follows a month with 30 days, your due date will be the same as previous month
  • In a month that follow a month with 31 days, your due date will be one day earlier than the previous month
  • In a month that follows a month with 28 days, your due date will be 2 days later than the previous month (except in a leap year, when it will be 1 day later)

EDIT: fixed my leap year error 😉

Public Mobile renewals run on 30-day rotating cycles.

Calendar months/years mean nothing around here (except for monthly Community Rewards and annual Loyalty Rewards)

And that's your Roman/European "western" history lesson for the day. Other cultures had different calendars too. Ours just happened to have evolved out of the Roman/European one.

@AE_Collector

I know Julius Caesar added the extra day to July to make himself feel better😃....and Augustus Caesar then added an extra day to August so as not to be outdone by his adopted father. I'm not so sure how the other months of the year that have 31 days were chosen to have an extra day added to them.

Edit:

They gave February the short end of the stick in this one.

@sierrat

Because whomever designed the calendar with 28, 29, 30 or 31 days in each of the various months might have been on drugs? 🙂

I dont know about all but most Prepaid plans are 30 days, not however many days happen to be in the current month. You are buying a block of service for 30 days, not a month that may be 28 to 31 days in length.

@sierrat

Since pm service is every 30 days and not monthly every time there is a month with 31 days the renewal date will move back a day except for February when it will move forward by 1 or 2 days depending on if its a leap year or not.

If your next renewal says pay before June 18th then it will move as follows...

  • June 18th
  • July 18th
  • August 17th
  • September 16th
  • October 16th
  • November 15th
  • December 15th
  • January 14th  2022
  • February 13th
  • March 15th
  • April 14th
  • May 14th
  • June 13th

 @sierrat : Because this place is 30 day terms...not monthly.

Edit: It will make its way up the month and then wrap around down. It'll come back to when you activated in about 5 years.
