downgrade is possible but it can be hard
what plan you have now? if you have a plan over $30, there might be some $30 or $35 choices
but if you are at $30 , likely not much choices and you might need to check often for any offer

Public Mobile sadly doesn't allow downgrading which is unusual since it's a prepaid service. I would suggest that you contact customer service and advise them that due to your financial situation, you're unable to keep the current plan and ask for some understanding. If they are unable to assist you, the only option is to port out to another service provider who will offer you a plan you can afford.
