are you sure that you have been double charged? Check both your credit card/ payment statements and payment history on the public mobile app or website?
akso are you sure that you have not changed your plan recently?

@DuckyP have you received your September statement showing two charges in August?
And there should onky be one?
You can open a ticket through the chatbot for Public mobile to review.
