does referral discount change with change in subscription?

I originally purchased the phone plan using a referral code.   The person with the referral code has upgraded their plan.  I would also like to upgrade my plan.  By doing this, does it change the referral discount?

The only thing that affects the referral discount is the status of your account for the person who referred you.

So long as your account is active, they will continue to receive the cycle credit for you being a customer here.

@Elle12 no change to rewards or rewards discount after any plan change.  

A reminder, schedule plan change using Change on Renewal option

This does not affect the referral code. They will continue to earn 1 point for every month you are subscribed and you will still earn the one time $10 credit. If you’ve already earned it then that is it as it’s only a one time benefit for you.
