I just found out this, from my phone number send to my own phone number dada usage: 1. what is this?

Going through my own recent usage history, it looks like

- data events from and to your own number and the "1" in the data usage column are incoming MMS with pictures.

- Overlong incoming text messages show up as several incoming SMS for me.

- Outgoing MMS are data events with your number and the recipient's number and the number "1" in the data usage column.

- On my phone/account overlong text messages with just plain text are listed as several SMS, if there is a special character or emoticon in there it's a MMS.

This might vary slightly, depending on what texting app you use.

If a message is very long, it'll automatically be converted to MMS.

@yanzhiqiang the 1 means that one message was sent via MMS.  All MMS messages uses data so it will populate as such, however you won't see an actual usage amount because all MMS messages with PM are free.

It's just a place holder 1 means nothing.

@yanzhiqiang That's a MMS text messages you are sending. Don't worry, it does not use any data as it is included with texting.

Exactly what it says...MMS. It's the record of the fact that an MMS was sent or received.
