i got my sim card 2 days ago and it already tells me i used up all my data even though i havent used any data being at work and had it turned off. plz advise me what to do and help me solve this issue i need my data for emergency reasons.

@rumimerali, what plan do you have? If it is a small amount of data, sometimes an errant synch can chew up all the data allotment in the blink of an eye. If your data is completely consumed checking the overview page will show nothing. If it is partly consumed, you will see the amount consumed vs the total. This is a quirk of the self serve system. We have all come to live with it.

@rumimerali, another thing to consider is that a lot of phones (android phones for sure) have WiFi boost that automatically supplements the WiFi using cellular data *IF* the WiFi strength is not optimum. Any chance that is playing a part in this?

@rumimerali If it says it's been used then it probably is used up. Login to your self-serve account and you can see your usage. Depending on the phone you have, it will tell you which apps consumed your data.
