I just transfer to Public Mobile. I can make phone calls out and text messages but can't receive phone calls

I have had this exact issue happen to me yesterday and after looking all over the forums this is what fixed it:
1. Message MOD team or submit a ticket using message bubble bottom right and let them know about your service is able to make outbound calls/text but not received inbound calls/text
2. Ask them to "refreshed the network" for you, and wait for a bit (~1hr) and you should be able to receive calls now.
3. If it still doesn't work try to insert your SIM into another phone and trying receiving a call again from another device.
Hope this helps :). Public Mobile should really look into getting this fixed.

Hi @PmCX Welcome to Public Mobile!
If you activated with a new number, then you should get full service almost immediately.
However, if you are transferring or porting a number from another provider, it can take
up to 3 hours for your port to complete. When porting you can make calls and send texts immediately. The last thing to complete is receive calls and texts.
Put back your old sim card in your phone so you can receive text message from your old provider or Public Mobile to verify your port request. Continue using your old sim car until it stops working... that means your port is complete.

- Leave the old carrier SIM in your phone and wait for a text to confirm that you are switching carrier.
- Power off the phone and remove the old SIM and install the PM SIM.
- Power on the phone and you should be good to go.
- If you are switching from Telus or Koodo. You will need to contact the mediator to complete the porting your old number.

@PmCX If you just activated and are porting over a number the process can take upto 3 or 4 hours as incoming calls are the last part to complete. Meanwhile keep rebooting your phone a few times. Did you already receive and responded yes to the transfer text from your previous provider?
