I just sign up for a new phone number. Everything seems to work but I can't call or receive calls.

Try rebooting your phone after you picked a new number. Hold down the power button and power off then power the phone back on.

@aria1 what kind of phone do you have? make and model?
which carrier this phone was used before?
Try to change your Preferred network to 3G Only, Can the phone still connect to PM network with 3G Only setting

Are you a current customer who changed their number in self service? Have you tried rebooting, resetting network settings or reinstalling SIM card? Can you put a 1 in front of the number? What message do you hear when calling or receiving a call?
