I switched on July 25 kept my old number but i can only make out going calls can not receive. Do I have to contact my old provider to fix it

i lost my old sim so i guess i am out of luck now

yes only outgoing calls i never kept in my old sim and when i got the texted i said yes but i had public mobile sim in and know i cant find my old sim card i need public mobile to send a nother phone request

@tammybrooks - make sure you did not cancel your previous provider's service. When the port is completed to public mobile, your old provider's service should close automatically.
If you have activated a new account and transferred over from another provider, note that incoming calls are usually the last to port over.
When the incoming calls stop on the previous provider’s SIM card and/or landline/voip account, that is a good indication the port is complete.
If still issues, submit a ticket with Public Mobile representatives (CSA) for help; click this link: to request the transfer of your number over to Public Mobile.

@tammybrooks Look like a stuck port. An important step in porting is to get a message from your old provider on your old sim to approve the porting. You need to reply them within 90 mins and likely you missed
No worry, this process can be re-triggered. Your old account should still be active at this point . You will need to find your old sim back and put it in a phone. Call the porting support team to talk to live support and they can re-trigger the process
