when calling between my husband and myself it goes directly to voicemail. it only is with his phone # and mine. We were with virgin and each had a phone under one account and now went with public mobile under each account. Please help us.

Your outgoing calling and texting on the pm sim card will work but your incoming will not until the port is reinitiated, authorized and your number released by virgin. Your virgin sim card will continue to have full services until you make the port request in the morning.

That's interesting.
Even though they didn't respond to the text, They were still able to have service.
So if there was a sim swap. The perpetrator would be able to make outgoing calls. This isn't good. Public Mobile should just change it back to how they had it. it's much safer.
This is very bad. Especially if personal details are in that account. now think of all the possibilities

@Debbie55 : Usually, for porting, incoming calls don't work.
Yes, put back the Virgin SIM back and wait for whatever needs to be done for the transfer. Like after calling the porting people.

If you have just finished the activation process you may still be within the 90 minute window to reply YES to those texts from virgin. Put your virgin sim cards back in and see otherwise you may be able to call the telus porting department and reinitiate your port requests tonight. Have your virgin account # ready when you call.....check your private message box for the phone # I will send you.

It is my virgin voice mail and no I didn't receive a text. Can I take out my public SIM and put back in my virgin SIM ?

@Debbie55 : Did you go through the transfer process during activation? Did you leave the Virgin SIM in to wait for the confirmation text? Is that voicemail actually still your Virgin voicemail service answering? Does your Virgin SIM still work?
