add ons purchase for three month

Hi 

  I am travelling to the U S for a period of three months and I wonder if I can buy add-ons  one shot ( talk + data+ text)! or do I have to renew it every ten days which really seems rather not practical and also quite expensive. Reza Kousha

For US Roaming 10 day packages
Unlimited U.S. Talk, Text and 250MB Data Bundle = $20
Unlimited U.S. Talk and Text Bundle = $15
Unlimited U.S. Talk Only = $8

How To Purchase Add-Ons Using Your Self-Serve Account

Follow these steps:

1. Click on ‘Purchase Add- Ons’ on the Overview tab and scroll down to the Add-On calculator.
2. Click the plus sign (+) to add and the minus sign (-) to remove selected Add-ons.
3. When you’ve added all your desired Add-Ons, click ‘Buy Add-Ons’ or ‘Make a Payment’ below the calculator:
   • You will see ‘Make a Payment’ instead of ‘Buy Add-Ons’
4. Select ‘Confirm my purchase’,

5. after purchase successful you have to do Rebooting your phone
   what is meant by rebooting the device turn off and turn it back on.

Try manually selecting either of  AT&T or T-Mobile, whichever works best for you,
for Re-Purchase Add-ons you need to wait 25 hours after the expiry first Purchase Add-ons or you need to Contact Customer Support Agent by CS_Agent, to do it for you..

i suggest you to buy it a local sim card is better a lower price and for public mobile you can do for 86 day Suspended Plan, and how to do Suspended need to remove your credit card from your account by call *611 and you need your 4 digit pin, or

How To Remove Your Payment

Follow these steps:

1. sign in to Self-Serve.  Once signed in,

2. click on the ‘Payment’ tab,

then scroll to the bottom of the page and select ‘Manage my card’.

you will have the option to either select ‘Remove this card’.

You will need to review and confirm this change to your account,

and after 86 days put it back your credit card to you save your phone number 

don't forget to review Reactivate a suspended plan (publicmobile.ca)

 @rezakousha : Nope. No buying in bulk. No stacking. One by one every 10 days. Keep track of the exact time you buy them. At exactly 240 hours you can buy a different named add-on. So say you buy the talk/text/data bundle and the 240 hours is up. You can buy the other talk/text bundle or individual talk or text. But to re-buy the one that just expired you have to either ask the CSA's to re-buy it for you or wait at least overnight to re-buy it yourself.

It's just a goofy bug. And don't buy talk or text anything while one is still in operation.

Your better off getting a local sim card and plan from a company like Mint Mobile 🙂. Their USA based and pretty cheap compared to getting multiple roaming add ons from PM.

Also don't forget to get a VoIP phone number from an app like Text Now, so that you can use it for free calling and texting when you have wifi available.
