Does anybody know if the Xiaomi 14T Pro is compatible with PM's network? Trying to find a new phone carrier as Fido is retiring their 3G network...

Eventually, everyone is going to be retiring 3G networks, so for the most part, compatibility is going to be about the same whether we're talking about use on Fido or Public.

your phone have all the network requirement for PM network, but your phone is not one PM's VoLTE whitelist
for data, it will work without issue. But remember to click Reset Network Settings once
for voice, it can use 3G for voice but it might not work great. However, there is a workaround to turn on VoLTE on your phone to get better voice services. Simply dial *#*# 86583 #*#* . You will see "VoLTE Carrier check was disabled", which means VoLTE will be enabled

To confirm if your phone will work with Public Mobile, please see this link. These are currently and mildly out of date lists of what can work.

Personally I'd stick with the Pixel, iPhone and Galaxy products that work better on the network.
Another option is you can find a friend on Public Mobile and try their SIM card in your phone.
If you don't have that option, you can always sign up on the $19 plan and try it. You'd only waste $19. Trial and error I guess.
