Wrong eSim transferred HELP

Derek1987

Hi there

I am a Public Mobile customer current and wanted to sign up my daughter's cell phone for Public Mobile.. I was doing the setup / phone number transfer all from my device and long story short it has changed my own phone / eSim to the one I was registering for HER. I desperately need help please. I am now receiving all messages for my daughter and my phone is showing as her phone number in the settings. I need to revert these recent eSim changes and get my phone number back please

Thank you so much I literally just came to this conclusion now that my mind has calmed down and I can logically think again haha thank you !!

You should be able to deal with this yourself.

On your daughter's phone, download the PM app.  Login into her account and then purchase a new eSIM card.  That should install a new eSIM on your daughter's phone. With PM you can't transfer eSIM from one phone to another. You need to purchase an eSIM on the new phone via your daughter's account. Then your daughter's eSIM on  your phone should be deactivated.

Once that is working on your daughters phone, login into your own PM account on your phone' s APP.  You should be able to get 2FA email code instead of text to access your account.  Then you need to purchase an eSIM via the app through your account.  Then a new eSIM will be installed on your phone with  your account.

Just to add more information, my phone is a Samsung hers is a Google Pixel..when I set up her account with PublicMobile APP I inputted her IMEI and it verified the correct Google Pixel phone (her phone) so I assumed it would along with her phone number / account number all transfer to her eSim but it has completely replaced my own eSim in my Samsung Phone
