Will switching to the $40/15GB 4G special offer get rid of my loyalty rewards?

I was excited to see this offer as I am currently on the $40/5GB plan and thought this was a no brainer switch, however, I am now wondering if changing my plan is going to update me to the new points system? Does anyone know if this is the case?

I am getting $5 friend referrals and $4 loyalty rewards / month so would be sad to let go of this considering the extra data would be nice to have but not a necessity for me.

No, the rewards are separate from the plan changes.

Seems like you will keep your old rewards.
