No. If you want to use your number to receive calls while in the US you'd need to purchase a roaming add-on that lasts for 15 days. You can either get an unlimited calls and texts plan for $15, or if you want data you can get unlimited calls/texts and 3GB of data for $30.

@banwjt if you want to save money, get VoIP app like TextNow.  You will pick another 10 digits number for TexNow.  People can call and text you on that number and you will answer it on your TextNow app, it will work as long as you have wifi.  Not the best but free

@banwjt , no you will not.  The only thing you can do without buying an add-on is receive SMS while in the US.
