WiFi Calling (not software)

Hi Folks

Does anyone have information on if / when WiFi calling will be enabled on the Public Mobile Network?  Currently if you try to enable it you get an error message with the Telus logo.

It's very unfortunate as I just switch from Kodoo and now I'm stuck with crap signal, but a great plan.  Is there a way to get this escalated to someone inside the company?  How can this still not be enable in 2025 - this isn't new technology...

Also, no I am not referring to WiFi calling via a software that you download on your phone.  I am talking about enabling WiFi calling under the provider settings (SIM settings) of your phone.  It leverages your (home) Internet connection to get a stable connection / call using your normal cell phone number.

from what we understand, there is no wifi calling in the near future

@No_signal this is something that many have been asking about but sadly it's still not available on Public Mobile and there has been no information shared to suggest that it's coming in the very near future. You can try messaging a support agent in the hopes that you might get some new information but it's very doubtful.

You will need to open a ticket through the Chatbot:
