Account states I have $12 available funds, $12 balance, but I have amount owing of $13. I want to know for what this amount is for and do I need to pay it as well? I am on autopay for plan 25 and my next payment is on dec. 8...

@Jeanetta : Those top few lines in your self-serve are:
1. Available Funds: this is your balance on account. Always only ever 0 or more.
2. A date: this is the start date of your new term. - your renewal date - if not on autopay (why not) then pay before that date and preferably before 11:59pm ET.
3. Payment for next cycle: the amount of your plan.
4. Amount owing: this is 3 - 1 but never negative.
Edit: lol and to answer the question...4 is for your next renewal but doesn't calculate any rewards in the calculation.

PM's billing page is very confusing for sure. I had same complain after signing up but so far I was never overcharged. You just have to live through a month or two of your service until bill becomes more 'readable'.
Just keep track of your charges - what you expect to pay and how much you have been actually charged. Community awards, auto-pay, etc. perks might convolute your bill - what you see on your account and what you actually pay.
Just be aware - PM will take your payments from your PM account first and then top up charging your card. You can read in this forum how to prevent service interruption adding funds to your account few days before billing day (known as hybrid payment).

I’m having the same confusion and i can’t figure my amount owing out. Seems like an unnecessarily convoluted way to do things.

Being a Prepaid plan it is just letting you know how much is needed for your next renewal. In this case you need less than normal due to your existing credits. Not everyone has payment set up to their credit card so they need to know how much is needed so they can buy vouchers etc....

You will actually owe less.
I presume you're on the $25 plan
Currently what you see is the amount owed for your next payment due date however you should have an additional $2 showing in your account under "My rewards" next to auto-pay it like says ($2)
The $12 currently in your balance are.
$10 for a referral code you used for a $10 signup bonus.
$2 for your auto payment when you first signed up and made your payment. The system can't automatically credit this at signup so they manually apply it to your balance.
Then you should see $2 under your my rewards section next to auto-pay. That is for next payment due date.
At payment due date the system will first apply that $2 credit to your balance bringing it to $14 then charging your card $11 plus province taxes.
If you signed up for some type of promo where its second 30 days free. Then the balance will stay in your account till it's eventually time to make a payment yourself.

OK. Got it,Thank you

It's for the next cycle
AND it doesn't account for any rewards coming to you
If you want to see the amount that will be deducted from your credit card head over to rewards section, it will give you a projection accounting for your rewards
Don't forget to add tax to have the exact amount.
For this cycle you already paid so you are fine

It sounds like everything is correct - you signed up and then if you used a $10.00 referral code this will be applied to your next months billing charge as well as the $2.00 off for autopay. The only (hidden) fee is taxes - not really a hidden fee - just something we all have to pay and is different depending on the Province in which you reside. Welcome to Public Mobile - I'm sure you will love the savings!

@danreyan I am assuming you are on a $25 plan. With $12 in available funds the $13 owing reflects what is owed at the next renewal. What it doesn't reflect is the credits you may have for autopay, refer a friend, loyalty etc. Look at my account in the pic below. Says I owe $16 but I will really owe $0. Click on your rewards button and you will see that I will in fact owe $0 according to PM. This is where you will see your rewards applied. There are no hidden fees on any type.

@danreyan There are no hidden fees with PM. Check your transaction history. Maybe you received 10$ bonus for using code? + 2$ for autopay. As a result, next month your CC would take 13$ for service instead of 25$.
